How it works

A clean, worry-free sweep.

  1. 01

    Easy, upfront quotes

Tell us what you burn and how it’s set up. Most of the time we can give you a firm price right over the phone — no surprises.

  2. 02

    Communication you can count on

You’ll get a confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a text when we’re on the way.

  3. 03

    Your home, protected

Drop cloths down and the opening sealed off before we start, so the soot stays in the chimney — not on your floor.

  4. 04

    The sweep

Rotary brushes and a HEPA vacuum take the creosote and soot out of the flue, smoke chamber, and firebox.

  5. 05

A look at what we found

We check the flue, damper, crown, and cap as we go, and show you photos of anything that needs attention.

  6. 06

    Clean up & walkthrough

We leave the space as clean as we found it and walk you through the results before we go.

Frequently asked questions

How often should my chimney be swept?

Once a year for most homes that burn regularly — the national fire safety standard (NFPA 211) calls for a yearly inspection, with sweeping as needed. If you burn a lot of wood through the winter, or burn wood that isn’t fully seasoned, you may need it more often.

When is the best time to book?

Late summer and early fall, before the first cold snap. Once the Gorge gets its first chilly week, everyone remembers their chimney at once — booking early gets you the date you want.

Will it be messy?

No. We lay down drop cloths, seal off the opening, and run a HEPA vacuum the whole time so soot stays out of your home.
