When you request a quote or contact us, you may share:

• Your property’s address and town
• Details about the property and the services you’re interested in (for example, what kind of fireplace or stove you have and when it was last swept)
• Your preferred way to be contacted, how you heard about us, and any notes you add

Partially completed quotes: our quote form has several steps. Once you complete the step with your name and contact details and continue, we save that contact information — even if you don’t finish the rest of the form — so we can follow up on your request.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our site and the services it relies on (listed below) may automatically receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and whether a quote request was completed. This helps us improve the site. We do not use advertising trackers on our site.

Phone calls and text messages

By submitting a quote request or contacting us, you agree that Ridge may call, text, or email you about your request and any service you schedule with us. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by letting us know.

Service providers we use

We use a few trusted services to run our website and business. They receive information only as needed to provide their service:

• Netlify — hosts our website and receives the forms you submit.
• Google Maps Platform — suggests addresses as you type in the quote form and shows our service area map. The text you type in the address field is sent to Google to find matching addresses.
• Google Analytics — measures site visits and actions (like finished quote requests and taps on our phone number) in aggregate. It does not receive the details you type into the quote form. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Tools we use to notify our team of new requests (for example, email and text-message alerts) and to schedule and manage jobs.

These providers have their own privacy policies, and some may use cookies or similar technologies when their features load on our pages.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see how people use our site. We don’t use cookies for advertising. Some of the third-party features above (such as the Google map) may also set cookies when they load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep information
