Dryer vent cleaning
Faster drying.
One less fire risk.
Your lint trap only catches part of it. The rest builds up inside the vent, slowing your dryer down and turning into one of the most common causes of house fires.

Signs your vent needs cleaning
Most homes need it every year or two. Sooner if you notice any of these:
Loads take longer
If towels need a second cycle, the hot, damp air isn’t getting out. That wastes energy and wears out your dryer.
It runs hot or smells
A dryer or laundry room that feels hot, or a burning smell, can mean lint is packed in the vent. Stop using it and give us a call.

Lint collecting at the outside vent, or a flap that barely opens, means the vent is choked down.

Dryer vent FAQ
How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?
Every year or two for most homes. Big families, long vent runs, and vents that go up through the roof need it more often.
I clean the lint trap every load. Isn’t that enough?
It helps, but plenty of lint gets past the trap and settles in the vent, especially at bends and the outside hood. The trap can’t reach that.
Do you clean vents that go out through the roof?
Yes. Roof vents tend to clog faster than wall vents, so they’re worth keeping an eye on.
How long does it take?
Usually under an hour for a typical home.
